hunt for bees sounds interesting, i will go back and sign up. although i planted sunflowers last summer, i didn't see a lot of bees in our area ... wanted to know why.

HI Becky, I signed up and did a post about it last month, I am waiting for the seeds. I got an e-mail today that they are coming. It seems that they were overwhelm with participants. This is a great project; I can’t wait to get started

I have such a soft spot in my heart for Sunflowers--they were the first plant that I ever grew from seed:) My new garden is definitely having a bed devoted solely to them!

Gorgeous color Becky! I was concerned about the lack of bees in my garden this year and went out armed with cotton swabs prepared to do their work (which I did with my summer squash a few times) until finally I was met with this same sight. At last the bees came!
