Babies in My Garden
While working in my garden, I spotted this nest of something. What, I did not know. So I took a closer look.
Could it be?? Spiders? A nest of baby spiders?
I went running for my camera and after enlarging the frames I could see that yes, there were dozens of little spiders . . . not much bigger than the size of a pin head.
All welcome in my garden.

Beautiful Becky....the gardeners delight, lovely little spiders. They will get rid of some nasty insects.
Stunning photography.
Wooooops sorry Becky you have a duplicate, silly me.
Thanks for stopping by and I am happy you enjoyed your visit. The photo of the spiders is a great shot! Andrea
Wow - what a good pic. Those spiders look so little and so squiggley. It will be fun to watch them grow!
My, oh my! How cute! i don't mind spiders, they eat some bugs and mosquitoes.
This photo is almost good to enter in a photo contest, Becky ... hmmm? a very nice shot! :)
Great picture, Becky. I am not a big spider fan, but I realize their value in the garden and do find them facinating. They just better not set foot in my house!
Gday Becky.. Great close up pic. but sorry to say after i took photo i would have to get rid of them. we have redbacks very poisonous here so the only good spider to me is a dead spider,,
Hi Becky
Yucky but gorgeous at the same time!! Are you running a spider school in your yard? (hee-hee!)
What an amazing spectacle. How large will these baby spiderlings get? They can stay if they don't get too big! x
Those babies are about
the size of this

hi...
nice blog..
good story and picture of spider's babies...
Hi Becky,
Wow, amazing!
Thanks again for the wildflower seeds. I finally planted some.
Hello again, dear Becky :) I have been busy looking after elderly relatives and therefore unable to do any blogging over tha past few weeks. However, I have new updates on three of my blogs, so you can read the latest story of the garden, or view my garden photo blog, or look at my latest silk paintings :)
The tiny little spiders are absolute treasures, and your photography is wonderfully precise. I remember an experience of seeing a nest such as yours.
It was on the corner of my washing line. I didn't want to disturb them but as I was hanging out the washing the rope obviously had tension on it and suddenly the little spiders 'flew' out of the nest on one long strand of silk and blew in the breeze and attached themselves to the nearest post of the fence. It was awesome, so I can relate to your feelings of excitement :)
Hi again, dear Becky :) Hope you are well and enjoying the summer gardening season :) Thanks for commenting on my blog :)
Hi Becky!
I have missed you posting. I hope all is well and you are just very busy! Hope to see you posting again soon.
Hi Becky... oh Becky! you must be wondering what's up with me. I haven't used the teatime cookbook, haven't planted the herbs. Life happened, still is happening, BUT. When the sun comes out, I will start planting again.
Love,
Jeannie

Wow! what a picture! I stay away from spiders, but they're welcomed in my garden also. They do us a favor and we're all here for a reason.
