♥ Seed Envelopes
I am working on making my own seed packets. I'll fill them with flower seeds from my garden and share with my friends and family. With encouragement from my friend, One Crabapple, I cut out pictures & words and stickers to glue on top of my "template." I also drew pictures of flowers and wrote the info about Calendulas.
I scanned the template and sent it to my documents and printed them.
Next I'll cut them out, fill them up and give them as gifts.
Here are some sites where you can get free templates for seed envelopes.
♥
Have fun!

What a nice idea. So thoughtful to share your seeds so others can enjoy their own garden.
Thanks for the links, too.
I am excited to plant the Calendula seeds you sent to me. I have a dwarf variety now. I hope these will be the taller type. The artful packaging is your special touch.
ohh these are ADORABLE !
I never envisioned THIS !
Like you said : once I get it - LOOK OUT !

Hey kool links BTW - Thanks !
Becky, how wonderful!! Do you mind if I use this same idea? I'd love to make some of my own. I've actually been pondering on how to send seeds, I was also thinking of somehow making my own little envelopes, and here you have a template!
Fabulous does not even describe this idea! Way to go!!!!
The birds in my garden photo are Blue Jays. They are beautiful birds but are rather aggressive and often chase the wee birds away. The cob is attatched to our deck and they clean it off in minutes and we replace it. The kids sit at the table and eat breakfast with the birds!
Thanks for stopping by again...
Thats a good idea.
Beautifuly. Look at here, they are more. http://www.geocities.com/siggyrose/
I also love your seed packets! Couple months ago I also printed these ready packages, they are really nice too but when I got the name for my garden I made my own logo...
I ~*LOVE*~ your idea and I love Sandy at ~*OC!*~she is hilarious when commenting!
Just goes to show you that you have so much more than a green thumb...there's pink and orange and purple. Oh, what fun! Clever you to have everyone rushing about making their own seed packets now.

What a great idea.
I have gathered seeds from my garden and might adapt your envelope idea. Thanks.
Becky, I have already printed lots of seed packages in late summer. Now, I just need to fill them... ;-)
Thanks for the two links - hope we can exchange some seeds soon.
How fun! I may have to do this with the seeds I gathered this fall. Lots of bachlor's button colors so I may as well get them into envelopes. Thanks!
What a wonderful idea, and I love you used your X sig picture. What is the story behind that picture. Did you so it? The envelopes look great. I have a template I use for ATC cards. Make them out of card stock. Hadn't thought to make them on my puter and do design work on them though. Will be giving that some thought for sure. THanks for sharing this. Very cute.
Came back to look at the seed packets
So cute. Such a great idea.
This is such a great idea I'll have to go out and see if I can find some seeds to save and pass on... smile
