♥ Garden Journal (Fun)
The time has past for planting, weeding, watering.
I must let my garden begin her winter nap.
Now I will read herb catalogues
and
day~dream of butterflies, compost piles, sprouts, rolly-polly bugs and sunshine.
Now
I find time to write in my garden journal.
Above you see my first attempt at making a college for a journal page.
Making this was
just
plain
fun
Would you like to learn more about~ journal~page~making~?

Oh Becky, how talented your are! What a lovely colourful first page of your garden journal! Are you going to write about the past summer or about your garden plans for 2007? Or both? ;-))
Unfortunately, it would cost me 5US$ to order the herb catalogue from your link so I will stick to my German ones. ;-((
Did you already chose new herbs? I could as well send you some herb seeds if you are interested in.
Hello Anita,
I'll write to you on your blog also, in case you do not check back here.
Ordering herbs remains to be seen for me.
I would love to share seeds with you. I have Sunflowers and Calendula to share.
email me your address please
i am at
myserenitygarden at yahoo dot com
i have to write it that way so that search engines don't send me junk emails. You know how to change it to @ and .com
;-)

When I get more time I am sure going to have fun with this idea !!! It is instant gratification sort of . And you are notworrying about messing up the collage you worked on ... it is only a copy and somehow it gives you ease to just PLAY !!! Anyway, I am glad you and I are having a little party here with it huh ? FUN FUN !
p.s....sometimes I AM CRABBY .
That really is a wonderful journal page. I am very immpressed.
I live down here in the tropics( Houston). So fortunately, as long as the ground doesn't get really soggy, I can garden all winter.
Hope you have a nice Thanksgiving.
Hi Becky from Oregon! You have a great blog - tons of neat garden pictures!
Your first attempt at the collage journal page is terrific.
When you said it's raining cats & dogs you made me miss Oregon! I lived in Oregon from 1st thru 7th grades - many many many moons ago!
Your journal page sure brightened up this person's rainy, west coast day. I was itching to get outside after looking at it and even though the leaves were too wet and soggy to rake, I had fun just picking up armfuls and dropping them in the leaf bin. Thanks for the bright spot!
Love it what a great ~*1st*~ attempt..You surely had fun and it spells...
~*Happy!~* I love the sharing that is going on among the blog community!Perhaps I will give it a go!Sandy.. Crabby...no no!hugs NG
Woo well done Becky so cheery and colorful! I'll possibly start to make a journal soon too, I've already bought a blank one, it's just that I'm so busy crafting for x-mas at the mo. Are you doing any x-mas crafts too?
Hi Becky! WOW I love your new blog! I think I was at the old one in September...You are just one creative movement here...the gardens and your art...isn't Sandy the best? She is like this blog super cheerleader and so kind and encouraging and full of inspiring ideas. Your journal page is great...
I really like the journal page. I would love to be as creative with a blank piece of paper. I hope you don't mind but I've added you to my blogroll at http://georgiagirlsgarden.blogspot.com. Have a great weekend and stay nice.
