♥ Stones ~ Flat Ones

I gathered some flattish stones from the riverside.
For a different effect, I arranged some of the stones on their sides. In the photo you can see them positioned across the pathway. Let me tell you, it was a chore. I would have liked to have done a larger area, but alas . . . other chores called to me.
I got this idea from someone else's garden when on a garden tour. Don't you just love Garden Tours!
Let your eye travel from the flat stones, into my garden. You'll see there a "dry bed." I planted grasses along the sides. In the winter when it rains so much, this little dry-bed turns into a stream of water running off the roof of my house.

Wow! I had no idea your garden was this beautifully landscaped. Very artistic! I wish I could see it in person.
oooh! can I steal this idea for my own garden??
Rosemary, come visit and we shall have a cup of tea and watch the koi.
Kati, steal away! I love getting ideas from other gardeners and sharing is all the fun!
Lucky you...finding such beautiful pebbles in a river nearby makes it much easier to create such beautiful piece of art. I also like your beautiful garden.
Viele Grüße
