Ohh this is fun! Now that we have the hillside sitting area, I'll start looking for the camp spot. Do you ever use the campfire or not? We've debated having a little fire pit to use, but didn't think we'd use it often and the logical fire spot isn't really a good sitting spot. I like the idea of having the camp setting whether or not it sees a fire.
Becky, I have exchanged plants with many people over the years, one being a Chaste Tree from New Orleans that cost the Rev. $14.00 to mail!! You can do it with Priority Mail, wash the roots off, wrap them in a paper towel and then in plastic wrap and they get there in 1 or 2 days... We have only lived here since May, but I love to share. I have white phlox, Thundering Ovation daylily, unnamed daylily, red tulip bulbs, snow crocus, delphinium, coneflower, black eyed susan, pachysandra, and lots of bulbs I got for free!! Be ready in the spring to plant and share, OK?!
* Petunia's Garden: No I haven't actually used the fire pit (yet) but have always ment for it to be functional. Either way, it's FUN. Let me know if you make one too. I'd like to see it.
* Sissy: I can't wait to share plants with you. I've got a sticky note on my computer to remember next Spring!
Anita and Sigrun and all . . .thanks for visiting. I'll be round to see what's new on your blogs soon.
Oh how much fun. I like when you have also humour in your garden. Just wanted to remind you of Saturday and the photos of candles...see you on Saturday!
Isn't that woman's garden a phenomenon. The woman in Finland. I saw you'd been there and told her you too garden in a like way, decorating your garden with things, to create scenarios. So clever.
10 Gardeners share a thought:
Your cowboy - or should I better say cowgirl - camp in your backyard is funny. I like the flowers in the background. What is it?
