♥ Blue Bottles

I am making some sort of blue bottle garden art here. I am ringing the border with blue bottles, blue looks the best.
I stuck a tree branch in the dirt and hung some blue glass wind chimes on it.
The blue wine bottles by the plants are being held up with wire dowels. You also see here a blue and white ceramic birdhouse and misc. blue tidbits.
I'm still working on it.
I've posted this in response to Nature Girl and also UKBob's comments on my post here.
I am intrigued to see UKBob's blue bottles with wings.

I collect blue wine bottles too, although I don't have such a fun display. The ones I have are arranged on top of my kitchen cabinets (boring)!

Hello Becky!
Thank you for your comment on my blog! Unfortunately I had problems with my photos at blogspot, so I moved my whole blog to
hundramiljoner.tradgardsblogg.se instead. You are welcome to visit! :)

What a creative idea! I thought saving wine bottles and using as olive oil dispensers was creative..but your idea tops that !!Tying in all blue
ornaments super idea!!This will be even more stunning when your plants fill in!

I also love blue in the garden and have decorated some blue bottles outside. I see we have a lot in common :D!

Oh nice to see so many of my neighbours here already! Hi Maria, Anita, Tea and NG! Let's have a garden party here!

I'm rather partial to blue too. I have "ice cream cone" pots that I'm wondering about painting blue...

Hi Becky,

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner but I have been taking some holidays and have been out most days until late. Anyway when I spoke of the blue bottles with wings that I have in my garden I was just being silly, I was refering to the Blue Bottle fly, I don't know if you have them there or not. Anyway I much prefer your blue bottles anyday. You have a nice garden and I try to look at your blog everyday to see if you have posted anything new.

* Hi UKBob . . . I figured out later that you must be kidding in some way . . . I don't know about Blue-Bottle Fly.
Funny play on words though.

i check your blog out often too, to see what's new at the Big House Garden.

You are so artistic with your garden, I just love it! These bottles, what an inspired idea!
All your themes are so cool. I like the Cowgirl campfire and the river-stone path as well.
Still reading your blog .. backwards, so maybe another post by me later.
